Maloney Announces $93,500 for Union Township Infrastructure
September 18, 2018
HARRISBURG – Rep. David Maloney (R-Berks) announced today that the Commonwealth Financing Authority today approved $93,500 for water supply, drinking water and delivery infrastructure in Union Township’s recreation area.
Maloney strongly supported the grant application by the municipality, which was approved on Tuesday by a vote of the Commonwealth Finance Authority (CFA).
The grant is for improvements to an existing water supply and to provide water service to the concession stand in the township’s recreation area and irrigation system to water the area’s recreational fields.
“Union Township’s project will enhance a recreational area for the benefit of the community,” Maloney said. “I want to thank the CFA board members for recognizing the value of these improvements.”
